Warranty Information

Effective Date: 27th March 2025

At EAK Essentials, we are committed to offering quality everyday essential items. While we are a trusted reseller, we do not manufacture the products we sell. This Warranty Information page outlines what warranties apply and your rights as a consumer under Australian law.

1. No Direct Manufacturer Warranty by EAK Essentials

We supply products manufactured by third-party brands. As such, EAK Essentials does not provide direct product warranties of any kind unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Any manufacturer warranty that applies to a specific product is the responsibility of the original manufacturer. Where applicable, warranty cards or manufacturer support information may be included with your product.

2. Warranty Claims

If your product includes a manufacturer warranty and you experience a fault during the warranty period:

  • Please first refer to the manufacturer’s warranty documentation.
  • Contact the manufacturer directly for troubleshooting or claims.
  • If you need help reaching them, contact us at eak@eakessentials.com.au and we will do our best to assist you.

EAK Essentials does not guarantee or control the outcome of any claim made to third-party manufacturers.

3. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

These rights apply regardless of whether the product includes a separate manufacturer’s warranty.

4. Exclusions from Warranty

Warranty coverage may not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or improper handling
  • Negligent or unauthorised modifications
  • Use of the product for purposes other than intended
  • Failure to follow instructions provided with the product
  • Products returned outside the approved return period

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EAK Essentials is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, injury, or loss arising from the use or misuse of products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

6. How to Make an Enquiry

If you believe your item is faulty or eligible under consumer guarantees, please contact us within 7 days of identifying the issue, providing:

  • Order number
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photo or video evidence of the fault (if applicable)

We’ll assess the situation and advise you on next steps in line with Australian Consumer Law.
